Michelle and husband were absolutely lovely. The space is gorgeous in person, the photos don't do it any justice. Huge garden, lovely and peaceful. Loved using their egg bbq. Great if you want to bring a dog. Modern bathroom and shower. No official kitchen but there is plenty of utensils and crockery. Perfect time to have a bbq. The fire place is brilliant too. Highly recommended. Perfect country side break.

Very easy to get to and host gave detailed directions. Very cosy as we got in the cabin, host had already lit the fire for us and popped in to say hello/welcome. We brought some oven only cooked food to cook but soon realised no oven or kitchen sink which was our fault for not reading description properly so only sink&tap is in the bathroom but the host was very helpful and advised to put used plates etc in a provided sink bucket and leave out on the decking for her to wash which was very kind. Lovely sized garden for our dog to run around but note this isn’t secure and has a few openings, we just kept our dog on a lead, outside bin also provided! Fire alarm went off a couple times from the toaster and log burner but this turns off very quick so not to worry! Sofa is very comfy and had a lovely tv for us to cosy up and watch what was on film4. Surroundings were beautiful and perfect for dog walking and popped to the local pub and town for a bite to eat! Lovely for a last min get away !

We had a lovely stay at Tanners Lodge. It was peaceful and clean, we walked to the forest in about 5 minutes down a quiet lane, and enjoyed the fire and sipping our tea looking out the lovely picture window. Michelle and her partner were super helpful and friendly. Thanks for a lovely stay

The pictures don’t do this place justice! Lovely Airbnb, very cosy and lovely finishing touches. The fire is gorgeous, modern bathroom, comfy bed, lovely hosts - nothing more we could want!
