Mauro proved to be an unresponsive and uncommunicative host. We had to enlist the support of Airbnb to help confirm the check-in arrangements as we'd still received no information less than 48 hours before departure. On arrival, Mauro handed over the keys with no explanation of how anything worked, maybe because we discovered later that a number of things didn't, such as the coffee machine, the gas burners on the stove, drainage in the shower. When he left, we found that one of the bedrooms hadn’t been made up. When we called him, he was loath to rectify the problem, referring to an additional charge. When we mentioned contacting Airbnb again, he quickly rectified the problem with no mention of an extra charge. The apartment itself was clean and well located but lacked basic amenities such as soap and tea towels. We therefore feel unable to recommend this place as we wouldn't want anyone else to have a similar experience.

The house in a very convenient location,Close to everything. There’s no supply of any water in the evening and the morning that we left ( no water for cleaning dishes , shower, or any other purpose)and there was no worn ing given by the owner that this might happened. That’s inexcusable.

Great location, the apartment had everything you'll need during your stay. The bathroom and main bedroom are very spacious. The Wifi connection is quite poor in the main bedroom, but other than that, everything is great. Mauro is a great host and very accommodating. Highly recommend this place to everyone who would like to stay in Trapani.
