A very bright and comfortable place to come home to. And it’s very centrally placed in the lovely town. Does require walking up steps, but well worth the effort and the beautiful views! Would love to return and stay here again.

I would recommend to stay here if you are traveling in this area. Great location for all sorts of things to experience and a beautiful little town. If we ever came back we would stay again

To begin, let me update some information from previous reviews about the Wi-Fi: we stayed in this apartment for two weeks, and I worked remotely for the entire time. The Wi-Fi speed was completely sufficient for all my work needs including zoom video calls, screen sharing, teams audio, and video calls and sharing large, audio and video files. The apartment itself was charming. It was extremely well appointed and spotlessly clean. It was roomy, atmospheric, and very homelike. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and all the apartment amenities were in terrific working order. The hosts were wonderful- warm, friendly, very helpful and very responsive. During our time there we felt at home—We are very grateful for their hospitality. Sarteano is a lovely town. The people are extremely friendly, there are just enough stores and good restaurants to meet every need. In short, we can’t wait to return soon!

Sarteano is a haven of tranquility in the tourist area of southern Tuscany. Being there is like stepping back into history and living in a medieval town with its narrow streets and stone buildings. An ancient castle (open for visiting) guards the village from the top of the hill. Mireia and Fabiano’s clean, well-equipped apartment is in the middle of the historic town. We stayed there for two weeks in the early spring. The amenities include a comfortable bed, washing machine, dishwasher, good wi-fi, TV, sharp knives, pots, pans, and plenty of free space to store your belongings. In short, it is a comfortable, modern apartment. Our hosts graciously met us at the town parking area and took our luggage to and from the apartment in their car. They live in the town and are resources for places to visit and things to do. Casa Sant’Angelo is a great home away from home, and a great spot from which to visit this beautiful area.
