Newly renovated 68m2 ground floor, two-bedroom apartment within a detached chalet in a quiet location, sleeping up to 6 guests. This duplex features a well equipped kitchen, open plan living/dining area, smart TV, fibre-optic internet and two bathrooms (including an en suite). The large east facing entrance provides a stunning view of the Mont Blanc Massif, including the Aiguille du Midi & Aiguilles du Drus. Outside, there is a small private deck (with table & chairs) and an open garden.

Great apartment, just like in the pictures. Modern interiors. Very responsive and friendly host who gave us lots of local tips for skiing, ski schools and more ! Highly recommended

Les Houches is a small town with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, it has fantastic local restaurants and great entertainment. Situated at an altitude of 1000m, at the base of Mont Blanc, it is a playground for mountain sports including;
- Hiking (All Year)
- Paragliding (All Year)
- Trail Running (All Year)
- Rock & Alpine Climbing (All Year)
- Mountain Biking (Spring, Summer, Autumn)
- Skiing (Alpine, Touring & Cross-Country, during Winter)
- Snowshoeing (Winter)
- Ice Skating (Winter)
The local supermarket (Super U, Les Houches) is 550m away.
There is a nursery/beginners ski slope (Le Tourchet) 1.4km away, there is also an excellent brewpub (Le Solerey) at the foot of the piste.
The main ski lifts in Les Houches are the Télécabine de Bellevue which is 2.5km away, and Télécabine du Prarion which is 3.3km away. Both are accessible via bus (free of charge) and have parking available. We would recommend using the free bus during peak season as the carpark often is very busy.
Les Houches Centre (1.8km away) is a popular starting point for the Tour Du Mont Blanc (TMB). Information, including maps can be found at the Office de Tourisme Les Houches.

Being just 1 hour by road from Geneva Airport and 20 minutes from the Italian border makes Les Houches an easily accessible and convenient destination so you can make the most of your time in the mountains, especially for long weekend getaways. If you prefer to fly then there are efficient shared and private transfers available that will drop you to the residence making travelling here quick and easy.
The apartment is situated on a private road with (free) parking on a large driveway.
The nearest train station (Taconnaz) is 1.7km away accessible on foot, or via bus.
The nearest bus stop (Les Granges) is 450m away, providing direct access to the lifts (for the areas of Les Houches, Le Brévent, La Flégère) and Chamonix town centre (for onward travel to the ski areas of Grands Montets and Le Tour).
