Beware this room is in a poorly maintained Best Western. Place looks, smells and feels like a motel in the center of the city. The pictures don’t tell the true story. I am originally from Chicago but live in the DMV area now. My wife and I came for a wedding. We are global travelers and when I tell you this place is a dump it is. I don’t know how it has such high reviews. Perhaps if you put the room in another building it wouldn’t have been okay. That said my wife and I ran to another hotel. We refused to stay because we didn’t feel safe. The host refused to refund any of our money. We lost over $500 because Airbnb said bad smells and shady characters in the building doesn’t violate any host responsibility. Please hear me Anything outside of the four walls has nothing to do with hosts obligation to their guest. Book somewhere else if you care about safety. Read the bad reviews they have some merrit.

Great location!
Listing looks like a standard Best Western hotel, but this is really not. The building is old and needs maintenance, as do the rooms -- stained upholstery/carpet, etc. Also, we did not experience this ourselves, but several Google reviews mentioned the hotel having recent issues with bedbugs. Rather than take a risk we found a different place to stay.
