A cosy off-grid tiny house nestled on our families 5 acre hobby farm on a quiet country no through road. Located 5 minutes (drive only) from town, this little gem is the perfect spot for retreating to the peace of the country & a great base to explore local beaches & attractions. Relax in the hammock, enjoy a cheese platter on the deck & appreciate the nature & wildlife. In the cooler months only, enjoy cooking your own pizzas in our wood oven and stay toasty warm by the fire pit. Our property is located 5 minute’s (drive only) out of Yankalilla. Please note we’re not walking distance to/from town and the hosts house is on site. Enjoy the complimentary breakfast provisions, assorted tea & coffee, chocolates and wine supplied on your arrival. Weather permitting…. Sometimes we can be very spoilt with some stunning sunrises and sunsets (not guaranteed). Enjoy golden hour with your favourite music, glass of wine in hand, while watching the sunset glow setting down the valley. For your entertainment: We supply bluetooth speaker, books, puzzles, games, bocce, picnic accessories (rug, cushions, lantern, picnic table) No WiFi or TV. You’re more than welcome to bring a laptop/iPad from home if you wish to watch tv or movies. * Cheese platter options available (all year round) and Pizza packages available when the wood oven is available in the cooler months. Sleeping: At night, stargaze through the skylight while snuggled up in the queen size loft bed and be mesmerized by the night sky and stars. Kitchen: Provides all the essentials you need for during your stay along with Nespresso coffee machine, fridge/freezer, two burner gas cook top. Due to being off-grid there's no microwave, dishwasher or oven. Outside cooking: * Webber gas BBQ * Wood fire pizza oven (available in cooler months only) Fire pit and Wood Oven: * The fire pit and wood oven are available for guest use May - September bookings only due to total fire ban season in the warmer months and surrounding grassed paddocks. All bookings May to September receive complimentary firewood. * We are surrounded by farming land so “may” (not guaranteed) have some livestock in the surrounding paddocks of either sheep or cows. Home to wedge-tail eagles, kangaroos, echidna's, possums, kookaburras and a huge variety of birds. Not guaranteed but season depending you may be lucky to hear or see our local koalas out and about.
