This place was fantastic, felt private and was very comfortable. It's in a great location as well, right off of Broadway but not the busy area. The hosts were very kind as well. They accommodated an early check in for me. It's a beautiful home. Would be ideal for long stays.

Positive: Nice craftsman featues,close to downtown, beautiful homes to see within walking distance, two restaurants and a discount store within walking distance (2 mins.),sufficient amenities. Negative: There was a narrow strip of flooring at the entrance to the dinning room that had been screwed down (an attempt as a patch?) but the screws or nails were not flush to the floor. I narrowly avoided cutting my foot. I had to drag one of the many rugs from another space to cover this hazard. Negative: The rugs all curl at the corners which cause a tripping hazard(I tripped twice-slow learner). Negative:Bathroom door won't open all the way because it scrapes the floor. The hardware on most doors are not maintained and this makes opening and closing them quirky. BIG NEGATIVE: The outside spaces were filthy. Three of the four porches seemed not to have been cleaned in weeks. Broken glass not cleaned up. The railings, floors, chair and chair cusions were disgusting. The trees and bushes ha

We loved the historic nature of the house and surrounding neighbor. The space was just right for us. The location was perfect for getting to downtown and riverfront, shopping mall (if that's your thing) and other things we wanted to do. We would definitely stay again and would recommend it.
