The other two options (one has a queen, the other two singles) have a full bathroom across the hallway. With a cook's kitchen, you'll want to open up Spotify and savor your time preparing something delicious, maybe with fresh ingredients from the nearby Saturday farmer's market. No need to worry about your first morning breakfast. We've got you with items from local roasters, bakeries and farms. The living room with its wall of glass reflects the optimism of the 1950s and a desire for outdoors and indoors to feel seamless. It's a great space for gathering, reading, yoga, or watching a movie. Entertainment options include Netflix, Amazon, Spotify, Pandora, Spectrum TV, board games, books. The living room looks out onto an expansive, private terrace that has a covered dining area with fan above, sitting area (including lounge chairs) and water feature, all surrounded by a fenced-in, magical garden. A propane grill is included adjacent to a table that seats six. A chiminea is available for evening fires. Past guests have found the dining table can double as a work table for laptop or other projects. There is also a large, dedicated workspace inside. Off street parking is ample and entry is made easy with a ramp leading to the main kitchen. Located minutes from downtown Winston Salem, UNC School of the Arts, Winston Salem State University, Old Salem, Cobblestone Farmer's Market. With quick access to major highways including I-40, you are close to Wake Forest University, Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, Novant Forsyth Hospital and the High Point Furniture Market (25 minutes to downtown High Point). Recreational options include many city parks, Salem Lake with kayaking, biking, walking and picnicking (15 minutes), Pilot Mountain State Park (20 minutes) and Hanging Rock State Park (40 minutes). Please inquire. A WORD OF CAUTION Perryman House's upper level has several small (one or two step) level changes and may not be suitable for people with mobility challenges and children. Additionally, a small pond, one to two feet in depth, is adjacent to the lower level terrace and should be considered when a booking includes young children.
