FABULOUS home! Freshly renovated and well appointed with every amenity. Felt completely at home and lent to a special week with family celebrating our daughters' college graduation. Comms with the owner were spot on and helpful, including restaurant recs and whatnot. Top property we've ever rented.

What a wonderful house and host! We stayed with three generations and everybody enjoyed their time at the lake. The grandparents adored the well equipped kitchen and grill area. The grandchildren couldn't get enough of kayaking, being on the dock by the water, playing in the spacious yard and having a fire in the fire pit every night for s'mores. The parents thought the house had good flow and enough room for everyone to enjoy their own space. The only thing that was a bit cumbersome was the gate at the end of the driveway.

The house itself was wonderful! Exaclty as described. He even allowed us to alter our reservations after the cutoff date & gave us a refund for the nights we needed to change. Also graciously allowed late checkout. What struck me as different/odd from any other Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at though was that he requested my mailing address, phone number, & email address. When I was uncomfortable giving him all of those things I checked with airbnb support who said that was not required. I told him any communication could be done through the app. His reply was that he would not be able to give complete household instructions because I refused to provide those things. However, during our stay any questions I asked were quickly answered & we were able to get what was needed. Over all, no complaints, just some things I found worth mentioning.

House was fantastic and in tip top shape. Otto was also very responsive before and during our stay for any questions we had. Had a blast overall and would consider staying here again in the future!

Often, photos show only the best of a place, or a staged area. Occasionally, a whole home lives up to the promise of the photos. In this case, the home actually looked and felt even better than the already impressive listing! The home has clearly been recently renovated and looks and feels like an idyllic lakefront getaway. The whole home looks like it’s straight out of a magazine, and is more comfortable than you’d dare to hope. The kitchen is well equipped, as are the bathrooms. The four kayaks were in great shape and regularly put to use for exploring the peaceful cove. We had yard games setup in the expansive yard overlooking the lake. Even the beds were comfortable. The downstairs bunk room is smaller than we’d expected, but it fit everyone and they all slept well. Overall, it was an awesome stay in a great home that felt luxurious and yet comfortable. And for those that aren’t aware, Lake Murray is massive at 50,000 acres - making this a perfect family retreat!
