Het hotel is precies datgene wat je voor deze prijsklasse mag verwachten, basic, schoon, alle noodzakelijke voorzieningen zijn er er vooral de communicatie met Debby en haar vader was top. Het hotel is dichtbij het centrum. Goede parkeerplaatsen. Voor mij was het perfect omdat ik alleen een plek om te slapen nodig had

We enjoyed our stay at My Own Paradise Resort. It’s a very convenient location to downtown Kralendijk (walkable in 5 mins) and the neighborhood is quiet. The resort reminds me a bit of an upscale hostel - a lovely central courtyard with lots of spaces to hang out around tables, under palapas and in the pool loungers; palm trees above you rustle in the breeze and birds come through in the morning and evening. The pool is clean, and cool - lovely for a dip after being at the beach all afternoon. Each apartment has a private balcony or porch, and I really enjoyed sitting out on mine in the evening. The apartment is clean, and comfortable, if a bit minimal, but a good value for the price! We had a problem with the AC first night (user error lol) and Debby/ the caretakers fixed it for us the next day - works great and kept us cool and comfy! Finally, Margareth the caretaker is a warm host and a great cook! If you get the chance to join one of her community dinners I highly recommended it!

✅ - toplocatie, op loopafstand van kade en restaurantjes (voor strand(je) is een auto/scooter een must) - ‘inchecken’ met sleutelkastje ging goed, had t wel fijn gevonden als iemand me daags erna welkom had geheten en wegwijs had gemaakt (qua wasmuntjes, elektriciteitsmeter, etc) - afgesloten terrein, palmbomen, leuke zitjes, klein zwembad - eigenaren Debby en Gert heel goed bereikbaar en vriendelijk - veel long stayers: pensionado’s, werkende ‘locals’, jonge stagiaires - airco, staande ventilator en ophangpunt voor klamboe - goede wifi - fijn balkon - Amerikaanse en Europese stopcontacten ❌ - gehorig qua verkeer, nabij blaffende honden, kinderopvang en muziek - minimale afwerking studio: roest, scheuren, kieren, kabels/leidingen, kapotte stopcontacten en rolgordijntjes - matige eenpersoonsbedden met polyester lakens - geen eigen schoonmaakspullen (stoffer&blik, dweil, waslijn oid), gemeenschappelijke spullen staan buiten - geen eten/drinken verkrijgbaar, ook niet bij late aankomst

Ja zeker ! Volgende keer plan ik mijn vakantie op basis van wanneer er plek vrij is.

Super freundliche Gastgeber 😃 Für ein paar Tage ist die Unterkunft vollkommen ausreichend. Etwas störend war das Hundegebell und die sehr Laute Musik von neben an von ca 19.30 bis 21 Uhr danach war es aber ruhig. Eine Übernachtung bei dem Preis Leistungsverhältnis kann ich nur empfehlen.
