Torsten was present at check in and did his best to welcome us well into his home. The studio was clean and Torsten accommodated a slightly earlier check in for which we are grateful. Please note this is a basement open plan studio flat - with a separate space for the bedroom and a large bathroom with shower. It would have been more appreciated if we could have some plates in the kitchen and a few more utensils. There is a microwave but not a stove. It is a peaceful location and probably much more suited to those with a car as public transport from the house to central Basel can take 45 min or longer and a few times the buses didn’t arrive including on a Sunday. The best was to take the train from St. Louis to Basel but one needs to factor in a 30 min walk to the train station. But very reliable and cheap train service to Basel from St Louis. Torsten’s speaks French as well as German which was helpful.

L’alloggio rispettava in pieno le caratteristiche indicate da Torsten. Facile accesso e check in flessibile. L’host è stato gentile ma poco reattivo. Se siete di passaggio, l’appartamento di Torsten è un buonissimo compromesso!
