Close to public transport, clean, a lot of space.

not recommended if: ...you’re not a city person. It’s located above a noisy train station and two eateries open until after midnight. …you’re sensitive to cigarette smoke. It’s inescapable there. In addition to the smoke from the restaurant and cafe, on one side, there’s a salon on the other side, with employees outside smoking all day. Worse, one of the neighbors smokes inside the building, at the window just outside the apartment door. …you don’t want to have to purchase your own essentials (TP, hand towels, trash bags - including one to take recycling to the grocery store yourself). …the water temperature in the shower constantly switching from freezing to scalding would bother you. If, however, you are a sound sleeper traveling frugally, spending one night near Cologne, looking for a place convenient to the train station and food, maybe this place would be good for you.
