I rented Hamza's place for a few days for 7 people (4 grown-ups and 3 children). The house is a beautiful old building overlooking the river with ducks and it was a perfect base for our sight-seeing. Stolac is an amazing little town with lots to do and also a great place from which you can reach other places in Herzegovina such as Mostar, Hutovo Blato, Pocitelj, etc. Hama was very responsive and it was easy to communicate about any questions we had. There is a parking right next to the house and a bakery across the street, both of which was very convenient. There is also a bar very close by which can get a little loud on the weekends. It didn't bother us because we were too tired to care about noise but if you're a light sleeper earplugs might be helpful. All in all I would recommend this place as it is a unique experience.

C’est une ancienne demeure turque. Très belles fenêtres et tapis partout. Mais des bars bruyants en face. Et des routes peu fréquente mais tout de même autour. Finalement on a quand même dormi un peu. La douche était bonne. .

It was really nice place, in the centre of Stolac. The only thing was that we heard the other guests through walls. The balcony overlooking river was beautiful we enjoyed there our breakfast.

Das Haus ist wunderschön und Hamza repariert es selbst. Vom Balkon kann man auf den Bach schauen. Dort schwimmen Gänse. Idyllisch! Der kleine Ort ist wunderschön: Alte Moscheen, Kirchen, eine alte Festung, Bars, Bäckereien und sowieso nette Leute.

I loved my stay at Hamza's place. The building itself was beautiful and the small pond behind it was as well. Hamza was a great host and he helped me find things to do in the Stolac area. Because of his recommendation I was able to have a guide to take me to Daorson and Radimlja for a very reasonable price!
