I have barely used Airbnb bc I was an early user & had AWFUL experiences - and never in cheap places either. We decided to go to EAA/Osh Kosh later on on the year, so I knew accommodation would be tough. Ali’s home was a new listing, with no reviews, so double scary after my early experiences. Ali’s pics looked fresh, comfortable + a lot of toys! Since my other choice was 2 rooms at the Garden inn, I couldn’t help but be attracted to the toys for my 3 yo, a yard & kitchen. I hate eating out all of the time and was scared about eating junk all week. We travel with our bikes (and stroller) and didn’t want to deal with a car and car seat. Ali spent a long time explaining the location in relation to the airport (super close to the FBO we parked at) and gates and events (biking distance), the shuttles, and how to get groceries (she even put my first order away for me) Ali PROMISED a clean house - and it was! Her house is 1950’s, largely reno’d outside, 50% inside & all areas were CLEAN.
