Welcome to Paradise Cove. Paradise Cove is a secluded and private getaway, located on Pine Lake, North Frontenac. We are very family oriented and are certainly welcoming families that are looking for a quiet, yet fun, memorable family staycation. Paradise Cove is a recently brand new built, four season cottage that has 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms and has the capacity to sleep 10 people, as there are 3 queen sized beds and 2 bunk beds. Paradise Cove is approximately 15 minutes east of Bon Echo Provincial park and approximately 15 minutes south of Plevna, Ontario. Approximately 2.5 hours N/E of Durham Region and 2.5 hours west of Ottawa, Ontario. To add to your fun and excitement, we offer you the use of our paddle boat, 2 kayaks, a standup paddle board and a canoe for you and your guests to explore the gorgeous pristine waters of Pine Lake. We have a selection of various sized life jackets but bring your own for guaranteed proper fitment. Pine Lake offers both large and small mouth bass, pike and walleye for your angling excitement. The cottage has a spacious kitchen, fully equipped, for cooking. The area has an island and a large table for dining. Paradise Cove is equipped with a high efficiency propane furnace to keep you warm and cozy. We also offer a main floor wood burning stove. All the kindling and wood is provided. Located in the basement is a great entertainment area sure to satisfy you and your guests. We offer a 4x7 slate pool table, an arcade cocktail table that has a 60 game selection of genuine arcade games of the past, an Atari 2600 with multiple games, a flatscreen tv, blueray dvd player, a selection of classic movies and various board games. Our bedrooms offer queen sized beds in the 3 main floor bedrooms and 2 bunk beds in the basement bedroom. All main floor bedrooms have a ceiling fan, as there is no air conditioning. However, the building does stay quite cool given its position on the property. Outside there is plenty of parking, a lakeside fire pit and a wood shed with chopped wood for your use. The front yard is grass and is level to the lake. Perfect for playing family games. The lake is accessed via a sandy beach. The water is shallow and the lake bottom is smooth and level- great for small children and elderly guests. The sandy shoreline is a great spot to sit in your lawn chair and let the calming waters of Pine Lake wash over your feet as you listen to your guest’s laughter and excitement. The dock is new this year (2023) and is perfect for sitting and lounging while breathing in the beautiful lake views. There is a large elevated deck attached to the front of the cottage . There, you can enjoy the convenience of 2 covered porch sections. The covered area off the living room houses the bbq and outdoor dining table. The second covered porch is off the primary bedroom. We have included a double Muskoka chair and hammock for some secluded private time. There is a large patio umbrella on the deck should you experience a rainy day or just wanting relief from the sun. Paradise Cove is equipped with Starlink internet service. Cell phone service/ reception is intermittent due to topography and distance proximity to Bell cell tower. Check in is anytime after 3pm on Monday. Check out is anytime before 12 noon on Sunday. Guests cannot exceed the capacity of 10. Smoking is absolutely prohibited inside the building. Dogs are certainly welcomed at Paradise Cove but please do not let your furry friend wonder or roam freely. There are people in the area that do not appreciate unexpected visitors. And of course, please pick up after your pet. Your pet; your poop. Grocery store, restaurant, gas station, LCBO and hardware store located 15 minutes away in Plevna or 20 minutes away in Northbrook, Ontario.
