Great centralized location for climbing in the Red. Great wraparound porch, kitchen and bathroom. Lots of living space. The path up the hill to the cabin can be slippery when wet. No toaster or microwave. Would definitely stay here again.

There is a lot to love about this place. The location is great. You are a short drive from many of the top attractions around RRG. And the Rockhouse is right next door. The house itself has one of the best kitchens of any AirBNB we’ve stayed at - ample plates and utensils, high quality knives and cookware. However, it’s lacking some basics like window curtains (throughout) and rugs/floor covering that would the place a 5-star cabin. There are a couple of broken windows patched up with tape. And we had issues with the water pressure (which sometimes just stopped for several minutes at a time). The hosts were responsive and dealt with the water issue.

Great location for local activities, just minutes away from the Gorge Underground and other activities. Beautiful home. Loved the kitchen!

The cabin is very nice and simple. We loved that the TV was located upstairs. We didn’t step foot up there because we wanted to disconnect and enjoy family time, read books, and relax. Kitchen was great, there were a couple nuances such as the water temperature fluctuates, there is an odor to the water, and we felt the water was not drinkable due to the coloration. The freezer also did not work. There have been others that have commented on this and left notes in the guest book inside the cabin. There were two broken windows (large cracks on the inside pane of a dual pane). The sink also did not drain. The spilt ductless system worked well in the bedrooms but was not functioning in the main common area causing for a very chilly morning due to staying in the winter. This is a very pretty cabin, lots of character, just seems there is lack of maintenance and being overcharged at a high rate. Overall, we enjoyed it, but would have not been able to stay more than 2 nights with the issues.

We had a terrific New Years at the Founder. Yep, the steps are a workout, think about what you bring, you’ll carry it up a steep hill. This is a perfect space for pets, I saw complaints about not having rugs but with dogs it was nice to just sweep up each day. This space is perfect for a small group, if I were to add anything I would suggest tv tables or some small coffee table upstairs. We cooked large meals and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy, kids beds make some noise, we bring a fan when we travel but keep in mind. Our group fell madly in love with the bidet, I’m seriously considering buying one! Love your place, look forward to booking again when the restaurant is open, thanks!
