I have stayed at many airbnb's around the world, and this one was the most charming and unique of any location I have visited. The house and garden were filled with beautiful art and the location looking down over the valley from the beautiful terrace made us not want to leave the house. The house has a unique history and I felt like I was living in a Tolkien novel. A hobbit house for very tall people. There was a shell carved into the high roof of the living room next to the grand piano. There was a storybook well in the yard, along with a chair swing hanging from a tree overlooking the valley. The entire front of the house had big windows letting in the sun, but the house stayed the perfect temperature in the hot summer weather because of it's troglodyte structure. Jean-Luc was a charmig and helpful host and we hope to go back there again some day because we enjoyed it so much.

Heel leuke ervaring om een tijdje in een grotwoning te verblijven. Grote ruimte en alle faciliteiten aanwezig. Troo is wel wat verder bij steden vandaan

Wonderful experience living in a cave with a breathtaking view and a large garden. The cave was a lot bigger than we expected.

Je recommande vivement cette habitat insolite et plein de charme. L’accueil a été très chaleureux et la personne qui nous a reçus nous a gentiment renseigner sur les endroits à visiter. La fraîcheur a l’intérieur était vraiment appréciable. Niveau confort, tout y est. Literie confortable, cuisine bien équipée, grande Tv avec netflix pour notre ado… Nous avons pu également profiter du jardin et de sa vue magnifique qui surplombe la vallée du Loir à l’ombre des tilleuls. Nous avons visité d’autres gîtes troglodyte dans ce village, celui-ci est indéniablement le plus beau. Je compte y retourner très prochainement pour faire découvrir ce lieu a d’autres amis.
