I am from the states and I put my family up here to stay for my wedding! We were able to upgrade to use our reservation as an event and also have our wedding here! Less than 30 people, it was the most peaceful and family oriented time. We got married with the pond behind us. Beautiful photos of us walking down the long driveway, family photos by the big trees. We utilized the pavilion porch on the pond as a beautiful spot for our guest book and pasta bar. We rented out the lower level and it was perfect with 3 bedrooms, large open living space, and kitchen. My father said he plans to come back during family Visits and stay here again! It was so peaceful, so beautiful. So much to walk around and see. We also loved using the grill and sitting out in the back! You could hear the pond from the house with the windows open. And our host, Valerie, went above and beyond to help me plan the perfect wedding and make sure I had everything I needed. Best Airbnb experience I’ve had!!

My family and myself throughly enjoyed our stay. The pictures don't do the yard justice. I couldn't have spent hours wondering the grounds and sitting in the gazebo by the pond. Truly breathtaking and certainly located. I would love to come back,when I could have more time to truly appreciate all there is to offer. Thank you again Valerie for a wonderful stay and your kindness.

This cottage is great for a weekend getaway. The property is very large, well-kept, and private. We had a nice time sitting by the pond during the day and sitting around the fire at night. Valerie was a great host and was very responsive both before and during our stay. She made sure we had everything we needed and was always available to answer our questions.

Our stay at Valerie's home was amazing. Though it was a bit closer to the highway than we thought, the property was very spacious with a beautiful pond that the dogs loved to swim in. The downstairs level of the home was the perfect size for our large family to get together and it was just what we needed for a short vacation away from home. A few things I would probably suggest for other guests is to bring a fan as there is no air conditioning and potentially a few cleaning supplies to help keep the place looking as you left it (especially if you were like us and brought 5 dogs). Other than that it was truly a magical stay that was close to many amenities and we'd love to come back in the future :)
