great and comfortable place to stay in. only thing is that if you want to seek help booking dinner venues or make reservations, host will not be able to help as much

This AirBnB was expensive and fell far short of expectations due to numerous issues. Despite paying a premium for what seemed like a spacious, modern, and new apartment, the reality was a property in need of maintenance and updates. It became evident upon arrival that the building was old, and the remodel focused more on aesthetics than functionality. This AirBnB made us decide to only book hotels in the future. Positives: Host: Responsive, friendly. Location: 10-min walk to Taipei Main Station, 5-min walk to night market. Negatives: Cleanliness Concerns: Strong mold smell, hair on floors, old towels, heavy mold growth. Basic Comfort Issues: Inadequate drainage in shower leading us to shower in deep pool of water, insufficient hot water, lack of privacy from master bathroom windows, high humidity, can't flush toilet paper so we had a bag of pee/poo covered tissues by the end of the trip. Damage/Maintenance: Damaged floorboard, master bedroom door, poorly patched wall.
