Nice lively Mumbai village, lots of street food and vendors. Great place to experience local Mumbai life rather than being stuck in a lifeless hotel. Not the cleanest but we enjoyed our stay. Easy to get to Khar road station by Tuk-Tuk then can get a cheap train to old Mumbai further south. Lots of food nearby and a short walk from Bandra West with some more fancy bars, Cafés and restaurants.

Water issues due to locality company but the owner and Tulsi were proactive to bring us water or any other problem so I encourage this deal ;) gonna miss you Tulsi bye 👋

The studio is equipped as described and corresponds to the local standard. It is really hot, but there are 4 ceiling fans (3 of them working), which provide cooling. The kitchen equippment is really basic (refrigerator available), but in most cases, the cooking is not needed. The tap water is not drinkable, drinking water is supplied separately in water gallons. Toilet paper is not available and not easy to buy. The house is located on a street, which cannot be reached by taxi/rickshaw. The area Danda Village is not a tourist area and provides a possibility to experience a real indian life. Center of Mumbai is reachable by bus/rickshaw and train (Western line). I had some problems with water supply in the beginning, but the landlord is responsive, cares, helps and solves problems. The internet access is available, sometimes the router must be restarted. As described, luxury cannot be expected here, but if you want to see, how indian reality looks like, then this is what it offers.

Woaw quelle Studio, spacieux aussi bien le salon que la chambre à coucher, bien éclairer le jour, la cuisine et la salle de bain impeccable, équipée de l'essentiel. WiFi au Top avec les portables mais rame un peu avec Lapton et Tablette. Le petit plus Armoire équipée d'un petit coffre sécurisé à clé. Commerces, restaurants, du début à la fin de la ruelle, animé de 09h à 22h00. Transport à gogo : Bus, Train, TukTuk, Taxi, Uber...Belle plage à proximité, à pied. Enfin que dire de l'accueil, par les hôtes, impeccable, voix douce , souriant/e , vous mets à l'aise au premier contact. Deuxième visite à Khar chez Sam BnB, sûrement pas le dernière, Soyez béni, à bientôt.
