This was our first time in Manitoba and the cottage was perfect for our family of 4. I can't say enough good things about the coziness of the cottage. Even though it was 15 degrees (F) for the duration of our stay, the cottage was a sweet refuge of warmth. The layout was perfect and we even managed to get some daytime screened-in porch time to play games. You can catch great sunsets and get some hiking on the acreage during your stay. The cottage is super accessible to many things and only 40 minutes from Winnipeg. It's a great landing spot for anyone looking for a jumping point to different parts of Manitoba. We stayed for 5 nights and spent two full days on the property to recharge from the travels on the other days. Steinbach is not far and it has pretty much everything you'll need during your stay, like great restaurants, bakeries, and stores. The home has some sweet history and it was lovely that the hosts could share it for others to experience. Great space & people.

My husband and I stayed for only a weekend and our wish was that we could have stayed longer. Amazing cozy little home that made us feel so comfortable and at ease. Mary-Anna and Garth were so accommodating and quick to respond and assist. Wow. What a cozy, relaxing and great weekend. I couldn't recommend them and their little home enough.

Mary-Anna was very pleasant to communicate with and very accommodating. The stay was relaxing and great for nature lovers or bird watching enthusiasts. A very large window overlooking bird feeders and a great quality pair of binoculars to take in all the blue jays, woodpeckers and chickadees. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a cozy and beautiful cabin.
