If you want an affordable place in Prague, this Villa Royal stay is definitely a good catch. It´s pretty well connected to the city by tram and bus and the place is a decent price-quality ratio for Prague. The only thing we disliked - which is not the fault of the host - is the loudness of the street nearby. I was surprised that in such a quiet quarter of Prague there are so many cars driving through the night. Btw, this is also very common in Prague, so don´t hold the villa accountable for it!

The rooms are clean and renewed with everything you need. The price wasn't great but that's probably due to an event which was going on in Prague at that time... there were no great prices to choose from. Overall friendly staff, coffee and tea in the "lobby", wifi and TV in the rooms. The area is relatively quiet with mostly houses around, the villa is by the street but it's not the busiest street in Prague and I didn't have troubles with that.

Had a great weekend stay at Villa Royal, room as described and clean, simple check-in process, very nice and helpful host, quiet area, nice Chinese restaurant just opposite and the closest public transport bus stop is only short 2 min walk away. About 30–40 min to to city centre by public transport but was great for me as I was attending a seminar in Libus/Kunratice area. Can only recommend and would definitely stay again!
