It’s an amazing place. Exactly how I expected it would be. Cyril is a very friendly host and opened the hotel for us, as we were the first guests after the lockdown. That’s why it was very quiet and peaceful. We already live on St. Maarten so it was the perfect staycation!

The Villa was our favorite stay on the island. The whole venue is sparkling clean and modern. The pool is heated and is a joy to swim in the afternoon.. we even got a special rhum drink from one of the owners ;) We didn’t walk to any beaches because we had a rental car but it was less than a 5 minute drive to beautiful Orient Bay and lots of local bars and restaurants. Breakfast was always lovely. Highly recommend and 5⭐️.

We spent three nights at Villa Jwi Lavi at the end of our visit to St. Martin and were very happy with the room, the value, and hospitality of our hosts Cyril and Marie-Julie! The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable with a great view from the terrace. Breakfast was delicious; we purchased goat cheese at the grocer and added that to the perfect French croissants, jams, bread, coffee, juice, and fruit salad that Cyril and Marie-Julie provided and it made for a delicious, filling, and economic start to the day! Cyril gave us several good local tips we followed as we toured around our remaining days. There was some construction in the area when we were there but St. Martin is still recovering from the destruction of Hurricane Irma so it is not only to be expected but good to see things being built back up again. The breakfast area is very picturesque with the pool and a comfortable sitting area and tables; we chatted with another guest from Puerto Rico while we were there and she also shared some great tips for a day trip to St. Barth’s which we followed with much success. It’s these types of connections and discoveries that make traveling really special to us. Merci Cyril and Marie-Julie!
