This was a surprising experience! Not only is the cottage perfect and very clean, it is next to a main Hotel with a full restaurant. If you want a place to stay near Stevens, this is the place! Will definitely stay again.

The cottage worked well for what we needed. The inside is great, looks like a recent remodel. The loft is very small with low ceilings - might be a struggle for large adults. We could have used a couple extra blankets, otherwise had everything we needed. The location is beautiful, great Mountain views all around and conveniently located right next to the hotel restaurant.

We came up to Index for a weekend of rock climbing and the cottage was a perfect spot to make our base of operations. The check-in instructions were clear, the living room was a great spot to relax and talk, and the kitchen was equipped for us to be able to make our breakfasts before heading out for the day. The location was close to everything (though in Index everything seems to be pretty close to everything :D) but we were mere steps to the General Store (for provisions) and the Bush House Inn where we had a phenomenal dinner at the North Fork Kitchen. We were even able to walk to the crag from the cottage, no car needed! The mountain backdrop was gorgeous and omnipresent. The only criticism was that the downstairs bed was not that comfortable. It sagged quite a bit and made for uncomfortable sleep. The folks sleeping upstairs in the loft had no complaints. Overall, it was a fantastic spot to stay.
