What a privilege to be able to stay at this exceptional piece of South Africa. For those who love being off the beaten track, gorgeous bucolic surroundings, and feeling truly at home, this is the place for you. The wrap around verandah and those comfy couches draw you in to spending lazy hours reading and admiring the gorgeous view of the mountains. We played croquet under towering trees, had cocktail hours by the fountain pond, ate al fresco lunches under the wisteria vines, had a smart dinner in the chinoiserie wall papered dining room, and spent many an hour chatting and cooking in the kitchen. Staff were friendly and accommodating (and really helpful with the dishes!!), our dogs had free rein of the gardens, and the kids loved the sunny pool. The beauty of the surrounds, the history of the house, the artistic flair of the decor and the loveliness of the garden all exceeded expectations. Thanks for having us at Keble, we’ll definitely visit again.

Absolutely loved our stay at Keble. Augustina and Pieterus were incredible. Augustina would light the fires in the morning and evening which was amazing. Lovely home that just so welcoming.

We could not recommend Keble more highly. It is immaculately kept and steeped in history. Visit it as soon as you can. Absolutely incredible and the hospitality is fabulous. A definite must !!

Beautiful gardens, relaxing and ideal for family getaway

An incredible place to stay, a must book if you want to get away for a weekend with some friends and not have anything around to disturb you. Advise on the trip is to drive in an SUV, roads leaving to the wonderful estate are quite bad with potholes and if you want to adventure to the surrounding farms you are better off with an SUV. Its clean, tranquil and much bigger in person. p.s, don’t forget to bring carrots for the horses.
