Louisa’s place was very nice if you’re looking for somewhere that is surrounded by green close by the beaches and falling asleep to the sound of nature this is a perfect place for you it was very nice staying here 10/10 recommend
Louisa was an extremely gracious and kind host. We loved seeing her colorful art around the property. She always ensured we had what we needed and gave us recommendations of places to go. everyone in the neighborhood was very friendly and polite. it was common to say hello! the 15 minute walk to the beach had beautiful views. The hut stayed very cool during the hot day and had a jungle ambiance during the night incomparable to anything I've heard before, music to my ears. I felt like I was in a movie. the outdoor shower was surrounded by tall flowering plants and fencing for a private experience and could be turned very hot if needed. Louisa's garden was lush with coconut trees, plants, flowers, birds, and butterflies. This will be my top choice of place to stay if I return to big island.
Although I lived in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island for nearly 5 years during the early 2000’s, I never really “experienced” the beautiful Hawaiian landscape and way of life that Louisa has made possible for everyone to enjoy. I relished the tranquil mornings, hearing only the ocean waves, birdsongs, and occasional raindrops. Evenings were a serenade of coqui calls and/or light raindrops once again. The bed was amazingly comfortable, linens deliciously soft, and Louisa provided the extra blanket (s) for those few chilly nights. I slept like a stone. Louisa is a lovely and lively host, so gracious and willing to be of help if needed. She is a gem who adds exceptional value to the native experience. Count your blessings if she accepts your application to stay at the Bali Hut; stay awhile and take it all in. I stayed for a week and didn’t want to leave. Mahalo, Louisa, and a hui hou! 🌺

I am from Hawaii but of Italian decent, I am interested in anything to do with nature and health, I practice yoga daily and have been studying hula for many years. I hike, bike, snorkel and swim and enjoy being outdoors and that is so easy living here in Hawaii. I love all types of music and dance. I love animals and you will see my cats roaming around my land when you stay here. I love to travel as well so hope you travel here to beautiful Hawaii and enjoy my beautiful Bali house. I have lots of travelling tips to share with you about Hawaii and this beautiful area that I live in. I know you will enjoy it here as you will see for yourself.
