Place was very easy to find. On-site manager was friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi in the house did not quite work, though the internet at library next to the office was fantastic. Beds very comfortable. House is a little on the older side but very spacious and great for a larger group (2 families). Unfortunately there is no washer and dryer in the house (as the listing stated). Both could be found next to the office. The access hours 3pm - 9pm, only one washer and dryer for the entire site (first come, first serve), made it difficult to use them since we spend most of the day outdoors and were traveling with 2 toddlers (so you have to wash more often).

A group of friends and I stayed in this Airbnb. We had a blast coming back here after our long two days of hiking in the sequoias. We did not see another person our entire time there and had so much privacy! We even made use of the tiny lake and went canoeing. Getting to and from sequoia National park was an easy drive and took about an hour. Would definitely stay again!

Joseph was great, very responsive and accommodating. The place has a remarkable history, which made the stay interesting. When the pond is restored, this location could recapture some of its glory and be a great summer destination, especially for families.

Chris was so welcoming and kind to our group of 5, plus 2 dogs. Chris was especially friendly with them and the RV resort was well suited to having our dogs able to join us on our family vacation. House 4 was clean and huge and lovely. It was close enough for us to get into the national parks and forest daily, but be able to come "home" for dinner and family time. There is a good cooling unit, but it would have been nice to be able to open the windows all of the way and having working screen doors would be good for air flow. All in all, a wonderful place for a quiet, fun, family vacation!
