We had a comfortable stay at room in the property of Mr Manoj. The rooms are very basic with essentials. The room taken by us had a double & a single bed. Double bed had a mosquito net & the single bed did not have the net. There is a shared kitchen available which one can utilise but the same could be better stocked with cutlery/utensils. There is also laundry service on payment available. The host was very positive & friendly. The location is very conveniently located very close to the beach (walking distance of less than 10 minutes) & a lot of nice eating places around. Overall a decent value for money.

With great pleasure I have to recommend Manojkumar as a very kind and polite host. He met us on the crowded streets of Trinco when we arrived from Colombo, drove me on his bike to the ATM's and to the s-markets for free, organized a relatively cheap van back to Colombo and, together with his beautiful wife and daughter, they helped me to make a surprise for my wife to celebrate the anniversary of our wedding (they prepared a huge amount of flowers, traditional tamil suits and national music). The hotel itself is very cute, green and small thus very quiet and ideal for family travellers (esp. with kids - there's a kitchen equipped for cooking on your own). It's 2-3 minutes from the ocean beach, surrounded with a lot of small cafes, restaurants, mini-marts and the tuk-tuk station is right in front of it. I can mention no disadvantages that are significant to be mentioned. And more of all, he agreed to install the microwave oven soon)) Please, come and enjoy his place! Touristic business in Sri Lanka needs your support especially in these hard times for the country. Alex
