I highly recommend coming to stay at Alastair and Nekoye’s place if you find yourself with a few days in Nairobi. Alastair kindly upgraded me to a larger cottage which was spotless and very comfortable. The house is located within a secure neighbourhood in a very peaceful part of Karen and the house is well guarded by 4 large but very friendly dogs. The house is quite a way from the main roads which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. It can take around 10-12 minutes for Ubers to reach the house which is a reasonable wait. The Hub shopping mall is around 12 minutes from the house which is a modern shopping centre that has everything you could need. Also the very friendly Sam is able to drive you wherever you need to go for a modest fee. The cottage itself has a traditional but clean feel and is very reasonably priced. I would recommend this apartment for solo travellers or couples who are looking for a peaceful stay away from the hustle of Nairobi. I hope to be back soon!

Very comfortable Space for my one night retreat! Enjoy the peace and quiet! The hosts were wonderful and I felt right at home.
