We’ve just come back from a fabulous holiday at Kate’s apartment. As a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teenagers), it was absolutely perfect for us. The apartment is extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. We really appreciated that it had staples like tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil etc provided, as well as other goodies in the fridge. The outside area is great and we had a couple of BBQs during our stay. The private terrace opens up onto the pool area so couldn’t be easier to pop out for a swim. Even though we were there mid August, the pool was always fairly quiet and has plenty of sun beds. As for the area itself, it is wonderful and we were so glad that we chose to stay in this part of Kefalonia. Sami is a great town with lots of wonderful restaurants and is a gentle 20 minute walk along the seafront from the apartment. We rented a boat and explored the hidden coves of Kefalonia and Ithaca - would highly recommend this. Also, the nearby bakery (Spathis) is to die for!
Apartment is as described, clean, very nicely furnished, lots of amenities in apartment to help you throughout your stay and cleaning services every few days. Communication pre and during stay was excellent and fast, someone there to meet us upon arrival, even at an unsociable hour. Set up is excellent, pool right next to apartment, spacious sitting and bbq area, several restaurants in walking distance and the town of Sami 5 mins away. No issues at all during stay and would recommend.
When we had made the booking, having been to Kefalonia a couple of times before, we were confident in our choice of location, but it far exceeded expectations. A large patio overlooks the pool and sea, both of which are within a minute of your patio doors, you can sit and listen to the waves from your lounger. There are a handful of amazing cafes/restaurants that we had some fantastic food at (one cafe we went to daily for all its treats!) just a few minutes walk away, and there is a beautiful cave 5minutes walk away too! We walked to Sami along the beach for dinner as well, which was lovely. The apartment itself was large, clean, had more than everything we needed, and we really appreciated the extras they provided. We even got a clean and bed and towels changeover half way through our stay. Highly recommended, and could come back in a heart beat, we're sorry we couldn't stay forever. Thank you!

Our stay at Aelia was lovely. The apartment is beautiful, fully equipped, the terrace and the garden are a big plus. In the middle of our staying the cleaning service came and changed our sheets and towels which was well received. Alex met us at the apartment , gave us the tour and even left us some welcoming goodies, which was lovely, he was very friendly and helpful. Free parking slots are also available any time in front of the apartment building. The neighborhood is quiet and we found a very good restaurant with fresh fish at 7 minutes away. Melissani cave is a 10 min walk away from the apartment and Myrtos beach is just 24 min away by car. There are a few beaches close, but every other meaningful destinations were at max 1h away by car. We fell in love with the island and when we come back we will defenitely stay at Aelia again.
