The host greeted us and gave us a tour of the Manor House and its beautiful shared outdoor space. He was kind enough to stock the fridge with fresh eggs, local cheeses and milk and fruit. The house was rustic but has amazing modern amenities. There was plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group of eight. My daughters loved playing in the garden, around the pond and seeing all the cows, horse, chickens and goats on the farm. The balcony overlooked the water but it was not truly beach front access since there’s farm dogs guarding the livestock closer to the water. It was only 15 minutes from Ponta Delgada airport and close to Bar Caloura and other points of interest. Would definitely recommend Casa Do Termo! Our family made many memories at this place.

The manor and property is beautiful. The Host met us on our arrival and gave us an overview of the estate as well as a welcome basket with local foods. The house is huge with plenty of room for a large group and a lot of space during our stay. Great location with quick access to Furnas, Ponta Delgada, and Ribeira Grande. Quick access to shopping. Beautiful views of the surrounding areas, of the attached farm, Ponta Delgada, the Atlantic, and great stargazing on clear nights. I definitely recommend staying here when in Sao Miguel.

Casa do Termo was an enchanting and charming experience. The artfully antique walls and decor gave the house a sense of warmth and comfort, and the acres of surrounding farmland were beautiful, charming, and just a delight to wake up to. The owners were also extremely welcoming and gave us baskets of local goods, as well as some delicious homemade jam.

We stayed at the Manor House for a week during the off season and had a truly magical visit. The house itself is large with many bedrooms and bathrooms. The property is rambling and picturesque. It's a working farm so it feels like you're getting a glimpse into everyday life on the island. The children enjoyed visiting the many animals and the farm hands were friendly and accommodating. João was responsive and accommodating to answer questions. The house is gated and felt very safe. It's not walking distance to any attractions but we found most outings took us 15 minutes by car or less. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space to spread out. Like many AirBNBs, the kitchen isn't the highlight but it served our needs and had the necessary amenities for 2 families with kids (microwave, dishwasher, etc). The host provided towels for the thermal springs as well as a crib and high chair for the baby. Highly recommend!
