Michael and Jill were very welcoming and were responsive to our needs. The location is wonderful and there are beautiful views from the house. There are a couple of really gorgeous restaurants walking distance also from the house. Which was just ideal with young kids. The garden nicely shelters you from the sun. We found the bathrooms could do with some renovation. Also to note the area you swim out the front has urchins and stones so you really needs shoes if you want to swim. We had a nice time all round.

Villa Megas is an amazing place. It is definitely not the average holiday home. We felt like staying at a friend's house right from the start. Book shelves are full of books in various languages. The kitchens are fully equipped. There was no appliance or pot that we needed and we didn't find (there's even a KitchenAid and a selection of beautiful casseroles). As other reviewers mentioned, the house and the garden are big enough to give you the privacy you might need in a bigger group, and also allow for spacious common areas to spend time together. You have plenty of old olive trees that provide shade even in the hottest of days. Actually, on a few occasions we were surprised how hot the weather was, once we left the property. Both Michel and Gabriela, and Jillian who is looking after the house were very friendly and responsive. We received great tips on what to do on the island, and Jillian was so kind to check ferries and taxis for us. Thank you all for an unforgettable vacation!

My family had a great time at the house , the garden was amazing and even the weather is really hot, the garden provides enough shadow and great atmosphere. Michel and Jill were super nice and always reachable. Would definitely recommend it.

We stayed with friends for a week and the place is great! It has its own private beach and a beautiful view. It is simultaneously in a very private and peaceful place, yet there are a lot of things to do in about 10 minutes walking. There are 3 very, very good restaurants in 1 minute walking distance from there. The photos don't show how great the place actually is! It is also great for people with kids.
