We had a great time at Lorretta's place. The beach was clean and peaceful. Beautiful views even on a cloudy day. The beach was easy to access and we felt safe. There is a base you walk on to get to the beach or you can walk a short way to avoid the guard at the gate if you forgot your id. Great restaurant very close. Nice atmosphere and good food, drinks and entertainment. After the restaurant closes the military is a little more strict on asking for ID to access the beach. But it's easy to walk around. The entire bay was great for kids and snorkeling. There are many beach items you can borrow and a wagon to get it all over there. They really have lots of gear! It's in a quiet location and you get a local vibe. There are local turtles and you can swim pretty close to them. The patio area was a nice place to hang out. We felt safe there. There are some homeless people camping but they are very friendly and we never felt threatened or scared. Had a really great stay! Thanks

Lorretta was helpful, kind and generous. Her place was exactly as described and was perfect for my family. We wanted a quiet out of the way location but close to a beach and we found that at Lorretta's. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We had a fantastic family vacation at this Waianae home! It's very close to the beach and we all loved watching the sunrise/sunset. The host has a ton of things available to bring to the beach (paddle boards, snorkels, coolers, etc.). Could not be happier with our stay.

We loved this stay. And the restaurant near by came in handy so many times ! Beach was clean and secluded as well.
