We had an amazing week at Birch Le! It was very cold and gray in northern Michigan during our stay, but we are Michiganders and expected it. The weather allowed us to enjoy the fireplace, wooded views and soaking tub even more. The environment is so beautiful and peaceful. We didn’t want to leave! We loved the high ceilings, teak flooring in the showers, tall glass windows with forest views and a sliver of a lake view — we even saw a couple of sunsets. The surrounding area is lovely - lots of fun places to stop and grab a coffee, baked goods, wine, and little grocery stores with everything you need. For us, the lack of window coverings in the main living area took some getting used to after dark, but it’s a very quiet neighborhood and we adjusted. Aside from this we adored Birch Le and would come back in a heartbeat.

Everything was lovely and conducive to a perfectly peaceful and relaxing weekend. It was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had all we needed. I especially enjoyed the views out the windows and the soaking tub.

My wife and I had an amazing stay. We wanted to get away to a private, quiet home in the woods, and this home was exactly what we were hoping for. In addition to the peaceful scenery, the home itself was awesome! It was a very modern home with tons of natural light, beautiful forest views, and a tranquil vibe. We are already talking about finding a time to visit again.

Fantastic stay with the whole family, including a toddler and pup. Sean's place is in a quiet peaceful setting but close enough to multiple small towns to fill our time with activity if desired. Sean was very communicative and everything was as described or better. Will definitely be staying here again.

We’ve been wanting to stay at Sean’s place for a while and it did not disappoint. We loved the peaceful surroundings and took advantage of the beautiful space. The location was perfect, just a few minutes to the Village of Lake Leelanau. The place was clean and the bath overlooking the forest was a real treat. We had everything we needed and more.
