Incredible view from the property, true to the pictures in the listing! The deck felt very private and well-protected from wind even while the rest of Gualala was very windy. We could hear the sounds of waves throughout our stay, and see the sunset from the jacuzzi. An added bonus was the binoculars to see the rocky coast up close. The house is spacious, and the outside of the house even more spacious. The house in general had great lighting from sunlight, a large kitchen, and was easy to find. It was about a 4 minute drive to downtown Gualala, which was a cute little town. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.
The Gualala Beach House was a fantastic stay for my lady and I. The views were absolutely stunning, bed was very comfy, shower had great pressure , and the hot tub overlooking the ocean was the cherry on top. Highly recommend this spot, I actually proposed to my girlfriend - now fiance, here and this surreal spot was fantastic for that moment.
Lovely place right on the water. Bed comfortable which was awesome! Kitchen spacious. Hot tub lovely.
Unmatchable view. Great place to call home base as I explored the region. Driving only access to everything, as there aren't really any pedestrian walkways along HWY 1. I was a solo traveler, and the house was great for just me. It could pull off three or four people comfortably. The house is spacious and quiet, as there are floor to ceiling sliding doors that keep out a lot of the noise from the surf and crashing waves below. Downsides: There were a number of lights that were out, and some cabinetry and hardware missing in the master bedroom's bathroom, which seemed like they just had yet to repair it. And the kitchen is not well stocked. Bring your own knives for sure. Also, the fitted sheet that I was sleeping on felt pretty worn, and scratchy. The main big couch is very uncomfortable, and dirty looking. Not a five star, but could easily be so with some tweeks.
my family had the most wonderful time in the house. we did had to put our food away from the kitchen counter due the ants but nothing crazy the house was clean just need a new couch, the hottub was amazing and let's not forget the VIEWS omg. overall great house to connect with your family
