What a great little spot , if you lookimg to break away from City life. We had the best time as a family of 4. Kids loved being in the nature and and ofcors the Hot Tub! Would recommend definitely. Thank you Marna for the beautiful stay

Very clean and surene farm stay offering an exceptional choice for those who wish to explore the Hemel and aarde valley. The cottage itself is well equipped and we really appreciated the generosity of the host, especially with fire wood. This allowed us to pop into Caledon for amazing Braai options and we enjoyed the two beautiful nights under the stars (wish we stayed a bit longer).

Great cottage, beautiful and tranquil location. We were visiting for a wedding at The One venue, and it couldn’t have been better for that. 40min drive to Hermanus, 15 to Caledon. Hermanus is a really cute town. The cottage was perfect for what we needed it for, no frills and some minor issues but Marna was incredibly communicative and helpful. The kids loved watching the sheep out of the window and ‘swimming’ in the unlit wood fired hot tub. Also, the fly swat came in handy! We didn’t use it, but wouldn’t suggest anyone plans to sleep on the sofa bed in the main room. It was uncomfortable just to sit on. Would recommend the cottage, particularly if you’re at The One for any reason!

The place was exceptional, perfect for our family of 4 getaway. The surroundings were peaceful and the place itself was tidy and a lovely space to live in for the weekend. The freestanding house was spacious and clean. It will be my first choice to stay in when I am in the area again.

We had the most peaceful and restful break. You can completely relax at the cottage, and drive out to wine farms for lunch if you want to. Marna was an amazing and responsive host. It was just wonderful 😊
