Luke and Tanna’s place was our base camp for visiting Mount Rainier. The Guest Haus is very clean and has everything you’ll need for a pleasant and comfortable stay. The kitchen was well stocked. Luke and Tanna were very considerate in bringing to our attention, the unexpected logging operation that began across the street just before our arrival. We honestly did not feel that it was an issue, as most of the work was being done while we were out visiting the park. We did not feel that the logging interfered with the peace and tranquility of their homestead. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Luke and Tanna went above and beyond. We look forward to a second visit in the future.

Luke and Tanna are gems of hosts. Long experience in hospitality and it shows. They have a wonderful energy and give fantastic advice for anyone looking to explore Mt. Rainier. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Lovely place to stay while attempting to climb Mt. Rainier with RMI. Luke and Tanna were super knowledgeable about places to eat and good hikes to do. The Guest Haus is fully equipped--they've literally thought of everything.

This was our first trip to Mt. Rainier and having the local knowledge of Tanna and Luke was so helpful in making the most of our trip. Their helpful suggestions really helped us to avoid the crowds and take some wonderful hikes, we feel like we got a highlights tour of Mt. Rainier. In addition their Airbnb is in a quiet peaceful location with an excellent king size bed and a well equipped kitchen, including the basics of S/P, cooking oil, spices etc. There are even chilled glasses in the freezer for beer. The bathroom is also well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, hairdryer and lovely towels. It was a great place to chill after a day of hiking and you will probably meet the friendly neighbor dog as well as the cats next door. Tanna and Luke provide a friendly respite and so much knowledge of the park that we will certainly come back on our next Mt. Rainier adventure.

My husband and I loved our stay in Luke and Tanna's guest house! The guest house was very comfortable and had everything we wanted: comfortable bed, a kitchen where we could cook simple dinners, a porch where we could eat outside with a view of Mt. Rainier, privacy when we wanted it, but they were also pretty much always on the property and available if we had questions or wanted recommendations. They are very friendly and relaxed people, they gave us great advice about hikes in Mt Rainier National Park as well as Mt St Helens, and advice on grocery stores and restaurants, and even let us know about road closures and weather forecasts. They really wanted to make our vacation great, and it truly was. On a particularly hot afternoon they invited us to sit on their porch for a cold drink and some cookies and we ended up chatting for two hours. If you've ever dreamed about getting away from it all to relax on an idyllic farm in the mountains, this place is for you.
