Perfect size place for our family of 3 for our first family vacation. Lots of toys and games for our 2 year old to play with. Neighbors to the left were very nice and greeted us. Came right as schools were starting in middle to last week of August, so it wasn’t busy or overly noisy. Mara answered all of our questions is a timely manner. Such a great experience that we plan to be lake vacation people from now on.

The stay over all was nice. Mara was very responsive. Had a little trouble night one with a blown fuse. Just a act of a earlier storm not preventable but Mara took care of the issue. Did think the place needs a deep clean and weed pulled. Noticed mouse dropping in cabinets and on the counter. Location on the lake was nice. Hugh house next door with over 15 small kids but they were polite and other than them having fun laughing and playing they we never a problem. I think with a little TLC this place would be awesome.

Pros: -Cute place. -Nice view of lake. -Well stocked with many items in fridge, food in cabinets, wood for fire, and bottled water. Thanks! Cons: -Smaller than expected: bedroom 1 had only two bunk beds, and bedroom 2 only had one queen bed. This did not match the summary given on Airbnb. -The cottage was cluttered with lots of personal stuff, and it was not very clean. -The floor in the bathroom had cracked tiles and rust stains in the sink and shower. -Some pillows in bedroom 1 had no pillow cases, so it did not feel very hygienic. -AC units are only in the bedrooms, and it did not work very well for bedroom 1. -Many people (including ~15 children) and four dogs were staying at a large house located behind the cottage, so it was not a very peaceful. Perhaps we just had bad timing that particular weekend.

Great weekend for our family with 5, all 8 and under 🥴😂. We enjoyed the beach/boats and were hardly inside. The bunk room was great for sleeping all our littles and they thought the beds were so cool. There were a lot of personal items which made the house seem more disheveled than it was. But honestly, my littles enjoyed discovering all of Mara’s family treasures (ex: coloring books, toys, games, etc...) and it worked out well for us. Many good memories that we are grateful for.
