Heavenly. I drove in just before a huge snowfall, so I was safe, snug, and sound in this wonderful place. It was a few days before I really got out to enjoy the balcony. My goodness. Just a gorgeous view. Majestic. Stu and Becky are great hosts. They have charming extras like binoculars and a hammock and that’s not to mention all the cool stuff to play with inside and out. The surroundings are gorgeous. The area is remote, and that’s a plus. Listen to nature. Hear the crunch of deer (or was that a moose??) behind the house. The inside is lovely too—sweet little works of art adorn the walls, big comfy furniture would aptly accommodate many. I’d sort of snacked in before the epic snowfall, so I could only imagine my young kids and how much they said the place rocked from FaceTiming with them. :) I met some neighbors, who were really cool. The area and the people and the property make it hard to go back to the metro area!

This space felt like home from the moment I arrived. I loved how open and spacious it felt with lots of natural lighting. Stu came out to meet me & my companions in person and was a very proactive & responsive host. Beautiful views of an Aspen & Pine forest surround the space. We got to watch the Aspen leaves change yellow and then fall off to reveal an even more epic view of the mountains behind them. This space is peaceful & private. Few neighbors and lots of beautiful land to explore. If you’re looking for a home to unplug from the hustle & bustle and reconnect with nature & silence this is it. Oh and also the wildlife was especially wonderful. Families of deer walking through the yard and birdsong greet you almost every day. I would have stayed much longer if my plans hadn’t changed. Highly recommend this space.

This place a great for our family get away to the mountains. Stu was also very helpful and responsive. The house and deck are amazing spaces to relax and play games.

I really enjoyed my few weeks at Stu and Becky's place. They are great hosts, very communicative, prompt, and helpful. They helped me extend my stay a week and gave me the same rate as my first booking, which was very kind. Listening to birds and the aspen leaves blow in the wind is so relaxing and exactly what I needed. There are a couple other cabins nearby, but far enough away that you have lots of privacy and peace to just enjoy nature. During my stay I saw deer, plenty of birds and chipmunks, and even a bear! Don't worry, the black bears in the area are fairly timid and easily scared off with noise, and you can observe from the safety of the deck. It is the mountains though, so normal awareness applies. I enjoyed stargazing and watching the milky way, since the skies at the cabin are fairly dark. As for the cabin itself, it was as described and I had everything I needed. The internet was plenty fast for remote work too! Great place, would stay again!
