Beautiful location and gorgeous view. The Wi-Fi doesn’t really work except in the middle of the night. The owners charge guests for usage despite the home having a password-secured network that would be a welcome alternative given the rental cost for this property. Around $50nzd per 3gb. More just to be aware of. That Wi-Fi is spotty, at best, during the day and frankly was worse than dial up speeds during the day. I found it worked in the middle of the night but that was the only reliable time. However, it is in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. We found the Edgewater resort next door to have much higher speed and more reliable internet. Most US phones won’t have data coverage on Rarotonga, at all. Local SIM cards don’t work on the new iPhone as E-sim doesn’t exist on the island yet. The house is stunning and the snorkeling off the beach is incredible. Great house! The trip of a lifetime! Just more an fyi about Wi-Fi since I don’t think anyone in my party could reliably access it.
