We enjoyed our stay here, good conversation with Kuya Randy and Tatay Romeo, their knowledge on the area shared added greatly to our experience, never a dull moment with them. Thank you for the help with tips and suggestions on activities. Bring insect repellant if you are sensitive to insect bites. If nature calls in the middle of the night be prepared to climb down the stairs as the toilet is located on the ground level. Other than that our stay was truly an experience to remember, hands down best view. You have to consider that rates on food and other stuff here is different compared to the one in town, talk to the locals and see how they bring produce in the area so you will have a better understanding of the pricing of goods. With our experience, the rates they have are justifiable.

The place was just fine with great view of Batad Rice terraces but the food was overpriced! We ended up paying for everything like hot water, coffee, etc. They also charged us 1,100 pesos for chicken tinola and rice. They also charged us 110 pesos for Lucky me instant noodles with egg:(

We Loved staying at Rita’s. The place definitely has one of the best views in Batad. Food cooked at the place by Jermaine was also really yummy and for a regular price which was really convenient. The only minus was that blankets provided were really thin and considering that it’s pretty chilly in the mountains that was a nuisance. But that’s the only minus, the rest was great. Would recommend staying there for a few nights just to relax and soak up the atmosphere.

Really good place to stay in Batad. The lodge is close to the road. Travel time from main drop off point is relatively short (as compared to other inns). View from the lodge also has great view.
