Our host Marylena was friendly and helpful. She picked us up from Armenia and ordered us a taxi at 02:30. The place was beautiful, clean and equipped with fast wifi. We saw so many birds, including Amazonian Motmot, Saffron finch, hummingbirds, hawks, all kinds of tanagers. Wish we have stayed longer.

We had an amazing stay at Marylena's place. The location was convenient and walkable to town. She greeted us upon check-in and was very responsive to messages during our stay. The birds were spectacular and the property was so peaceful. We woke up at 6am when Marylena placed plantains on feeders for the birds to eat. We heard the howler monkeys on two mornings- at 6am and 7:15am. We appreciated the local coffee sample, hammock, washing machine with soap, and the comfortable bed. After a heat wave in Bogota and Pereira, it was a nice break in Filandia, where the days were pleasant and the nights were cool. There were surprisingly few insects in the apartment during the day, even with the windows wide open. We closed the windows at night and the temperature was comfortable. Marylena was very understanding when we damaged a kitchen item and we were able to pay for its replacement. We enjoyed a hike at Barbas Bremen Reserve and horseback riding at Steel Horse. Your Airbnb was a delightful retreat, a sanctuary where hummingbirds graced the windows with their presence, adding a touch of magic to the serene ambiance. The beautiful backyard provided the perfect space for our dog to frolic and play freely. It was a true haven away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Thank you for providing such a wonderful escape!

Die Zeit bei Marylena und Will war unbeschreiblich schön! Es fing damit an, dass uns Will, kurz nach unserer Ankunft in Filandia, unsere schweren Rucksäcke abgeholt hat und wir so erstmal ganz entspannt die Stadt erkunden konnten. Marylena hat uns einen morgen Richtung Salento mitgenommen und mit uns auf den Bus gewartet - so lieb! Die beiden haben super Tipps für die Umgebung parat, obwohl man das Apartment kaum verlassen mag, da die Natur um einen herum einfach traumhaft ist. Ein wahrhaft traumhafter Ort für Ornithologen. 😃 Will hat uns am letzten Tag dann auch wieder angeboten, uns in die Stadt zu fahren (die zu Fuß in weniger als 10min zu erreichen ist), was wir dankend angenommen haben. Wir werden noch lange an diesen wunderschönen Ort zurückdenken 🥰 Danke für alles!

Die Unterkunft war ein Traum! So ein toller Ort zum entspannen und relaxen! Super ruhig gelegen und trotzdem nur wenige Minuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Marylena war eine tolle Gastgeberin. Sie half uns gleich zu Beginn bei der Organisation einer Kaffeetour. Die Kommunikation war einwandfrei, hatten wir eine Frage antwortete Marylena sofort! So sympathisch und freundlich! Auch mega cool fanden wir, dass in der Früh Bananen für die Vögel rausgelegt wurden und wir dadurch so viele verschiedene Vogelarten gesehen haben. Faszinierend! Ich würde jederzeit wieder in diese Unterkunft es gab nichts zu bemängeln! 😊
