The place is exactly as shown in the pictures. Ideal if you are solo travelling or for a group of 2-3. Dheepa is just a text/call away for any queries. Highly recommended.

So the reviews for this place were really good, and I see that the host Dheepa does make efforts to make you comfortable. But the first thing that is missing from the info on Airbnb is the state of the building and the area. The Airbnb in is a small colony, with tight lanes. The building is old and haggard, the room is the same as shown in photos, but not extremely clean, in fact the host had to bring us new sheets and towels, as there was only one towel and the sheets for the first day were clearly dirty, the same care could have been taken before check in. The rented scooty became a big problem, the neighbours in that tight lane kept banging on the door every other morning, harrowing us no matter where we parked. There is no cleaning service available, though the host offered after a week, but it was too late by then because paying 1800/- felt unfair eventually which led to an early checkout with no refund. I think the disappointment was due to lack of transparency on Airbnb.

Dheepa was a wonderful host! Very responsible and helpful. The place is huge and clean, has a small private outside area right and the terrasse with is shared with neighbours. It is about a 7min walk from white town, a bit dark to walk home by nighttime but honestly very doable. The neighbours were very friendly too. Dheepa was also flexible with check-in and check-out and helped by to discover some more of the local culture - thank you! I‘d definitely stay there again!
