Luke is a congenial and generous host; he was there when we arrived, offered us lots of suggestions and ideas and was readily available if needed. The property is just as described - clean and spacious with a well-equpped kitchen for light meals and an efficient laundry. Very relaxing lounge. It is just steps away from shops, restaurants and pubs on Richmond Road in an up and coming neighbourhood with lots of character and charm. Lovely farmers market on Sunday mornings that you must check out. The house itself is a heritage bungalow on a quiet, leafy street in natural surroundings. Easy access to buses to the CBD and ferries. Great walk through characterful wooden houses to a local beach. We choose Air BnB because we like to stay with real people in genuine neighbourhoods when we travel, and Luke's place was exactly what we look for. Thanks Luke!

Such a wonderful, quiet, restful place to stay. The place is very spacious. The hosts are welcoming and quick to respond

The appartment is really big and wonderful. You can hear the people living upstairs moving about sometimes but this was not annoying. Location is good with public transport options to downtown closeby, as well as a supermarket and some cafes and restaurants.

Luke's place was great! It was comfortable and the location was awesome, plenty to do within walking distance. We felt like we had total privacy, but that Luke was easily available for anything we needed whether that was directions or recommendations for spots to check out. He took his time showing us around the flat and making sure we felt comfortable. The neighborhood felt really safe, and we even made friends with the neighbors across the backyard fence! We'd definitely stay here again if we come back through Auckland.
