Had the loveliest week staying at Gill Cottage with my partner and two dogs. The cottage was absolutely spotless upon arrival with lovely little touches like treats and fresh flowers on display. It is very dog friendly with so many gorgeous walks to do straight from the doorstep. You can also walk straight down to the local, dog friendly pub which does fantastic food or travel a little further afield some days as we did, to Windermere, Keswick, and Scotland for some fantastic walks and scenery. 10/10 would recommend, will definitely be returning in the future!

A good place to relax and get away from the big city. The facilities in the house are good and functional, everything well equipped and clean. The jacuzzi part is the best, without a doubt! A very comfortable house and a noise-free environment for an excellent holiday in the countryside. I'll definitely be back for a few more days of relaxation!

Really well thought out cottage, even though only a 1 up 1 down plenty of room for 2 people and 3 Springers. Downstairs shower room a great feature as was the views across the water to the West Cumbrian fells. Will be back.

beautiful weekend away, lovely cottage, with great facilities and stunning surroundings! Tracy was the perfect balance of friendly, and welcoming, while leaving us to chill out! would love to visit again!
