Had a great time there. The location is amazing right in the middle of everywhere, so that you could walk to all touristic places. Places was big comfortable and clean.

Everything was fabulous with this stay, fascinating that this is one of the oldest buildings in Stockholm, its roots date back to the 1300’s!! The only frustration and disappointment was that when asking to check in slightly early you are slapped with an extra cost which doesn’t feel very fair or right if checking in that day and there is no one in the apartment. Especially when taking into the consideration the cost and the check in being so Late in the afternoon with nowhere to drop suitcases off. Other than that the place is a glimpse of Swedish history and slap bang in the centre of the gorgeous historical centre.

From City:
When you arrive at Central Station (T-Centralen), take metro green line 18 towards Farsta strand or green line 17 towards Skarpnäck to the station Gamla Stan (1 stop). Get off at Gamla Stan station, take exit Gamla Stan. Walk to Prästgatan 50, 111 29 Stockholm, Sweden. The total journey should take about 5 minutes.
Driving in the Old Town:
Please note you can only drive on the streets in the Old Town from 06.00 to 11:00 (5 hours), otherwise, it is forbidden. You will need to walk about 300-400 meters on the cobbled streets to reach the apartment.
Parking:
ApartDirect Gamla Stan has no parking facilities of its own. Parking in the Old Town is expensive, and it is easy to get a fine. It is possible to park on the street, fees vary, after 18.00 the parking is usually free, please check the signs carefully.
We recommend using the parking at the square Birger Jarls Torg (350 m away). Address: Stockholms Stads Parkerings, Birger Jarls Torg
