Host was kind. The home was very spacious with 9 bedrooms for our large mission team. Each bedroom had its own bathroom ensuite. The staff was helpful and friendly. Comfortable surroundings, private and beautiful landscaping. The location was on some fairly challenging dirt roads, but it was not too far. Overall it was a nice spot to relax after long international flights.

Et fantastisk sted med udsigt over hele Kampala. Lidt svært at nå dertil, men første pige vi spurgte, hoppede ind i bilen og viste vej;-) Værtinde og hushjælp var meget, meget søde og hjælpsomme. Da vi kom var der frisk frugt og vi fik æg og mel m.m. Nogle af sengene var lidt hårde, men der var ekstra madresser vi kunne benytte, så ikke noget problem. Kan varmt anbefale dette smukke og fredfyldte sted.

Petra & Ebenezer the delightful hosts of the Airbnb embody and exceed expectations where this is concerned. Although the home is utterly gorgeous; perched at the top of a hill that overlooks Lake Victoria and gives a stunning view of the city, it is the warmth and amiability of the hosts that make this an unforgettable experience. Our time at Da Wilderness was a truly remarkable moment which has definitely created a lifelong bond between the guests and the host. The spirit of excellence, the willingness to share and help, and the ability to anticipate your needs as guests and find seamless ways to meet those needs ensure that you get ease as you spend time in one of the most unique locations imbued by nature’s gifts. I highly recommend it to anyone who prioritises human connection, and this has easily become my home in Uganda.

Look, I don't know if there will be enough space to offer my gratitude to Petra and Ebenezer for the super super amazing time we had in their facility. The apartment and compound was super clean, had three floors, and large, super well aerated rooms. The entire farm and wooden aesthetic, including the decor and embellishments, also brought out the beauty of the place, and the pictures do not exactly do it any justice. They have an Uber beautiful home with an extremely relaxing and welcome farm-y, outdoor-sy feel; Petra and Ebenezer are literally the sweetest persons I have met this year, and are now my two favorite Ugandans. The apartment is up a hill on a road that is off Entebbe road, and the view from there is breathtaking, and you can see the point where the iconic Lake Victoria blends in with the Sky. We had a bit of back and forth in the early stages before we arrived, but we were able to align and confirm, and once we arrived, we hit it off immediately and she is now like a big sister to me. I travelled with 8 or my friends, and we met up with tens of friends over the course of our stay, and the lengths that she, her husband Ebenezer, and everyone else on the grounds went to to make sure we were comfortable was above and beyond what was required. Petra sent her driver to get us from the airport and bring us to the house, and was also super helpful with getting supplies and providing general directions to and for the area. I am definitely sold, and will be visiting again the next time I am in the Kampala area. I will also be recommending Dawilderness Homes to everyone I know who is headed to Uganda.
