Nice place on way from Masvingo to Great Zimbabwe. Still needs some work with electric sockets (we didn't have any in our room) and kitchen appliances (we needed to use our own adapters), as well as exchanging bathroom equipment. Place has great potential though :)

This property turned out to be a miss for us. We were frustrated that that we took over 3 hours looking for the lodge. The host hadn't furnished me with the local mobile number which i had requested incase her place was hard to find. The location on the map of where the property is located is fantastically incorrect. Not a single person around town or even the Masvingo Information centre had ever heard of the road we were looking for. We eventually found it. The lodge has potential to be a good place but it is still a long way off. Our room was quite big with two lovely comfy beds and clean linen. However, it is issues like a creaking bed room door that infuriated us - for there is no way either of could open it at night to go for a pee without making a maddening creaking noise. The dust in the the bathroom and dining hall area was really unbelievable. we felt the place hadn't been used for a long time. As seasoned travellers, we accommodated all of this but others might find it difficult.
