What a delightful cottage. I enjoyed reading about the history of the property and it made us feel welcomed and like we were truly guests of the family. I appreciated how well organized it is, with labels on cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom. The beds were oh-so-comfortable, and if I’d stayed longer, I would have enjoyed reading on the covered porch with a book from their well-stocked book shelf. If we are ever in the area again, we will book this cottage.
We absolutely loved our stay it was the perfect location from town and so easy to find
We loved our stay with Nancy and Charley! Even though we didn’t meet we felt very cared for by our hosts. The homemade bread, juices, coffee were so kind and made us feel even more at home. The farmhouse cottage is lovely and we appreciated learning the history and how many generations have shared this place.
Absolutely wonderful hosts and a comfy, cozy little spot in the country. Charley was very friendly and welcoming. The home is so inviting and peaceful. I highly recommend staying here. Can't say enough good about it.

We are Charley and Nancy Thompson, retired from the vegetable seed business and teaching respectively, living on the family farm established by Charley's grandparents in 1920. We raised three daughters, and recently celebrated fifty years of marriage. Spending time with friends and family - which now includes six grandchildren, enjoying our lakeside cabin, community volunteer work, gardening, and rooting for the Oregon State Beavers are amongst our favorite pastimes.
