Toujours un plaisir de séjourner dans ce mazot. C’était la deuxième fois et c’est toujours aussi reposant. Quelques améliorations d’un année sur l’autre (nouveau mobilier, maintient du chauffage du hot spot par pompe électrique…) qui mérite d’être soulevées. L’endroit est merveilleux, avec une vue splendide, au calme, au coin du feu ou dans le hot pot, un lieu plaisant. Nous reviendrons…

The chalet was a wonderful place to stay in Chamonix! The views were absolutely breathtaking and the decor was delightful. Arthur was a kind and responsive host. We found the hot tub seemed to heat up beyond the temperature on the thermostat. For other guests, I'd recommend checking the temperature well before you actually want to get in. Once it was cool enough to get in though, we loved it! As other reviews have mentioned, the ceiling in the bathroom was low and some doorframes were as well (I am 186cm), but inside the bedrooms and main living space it was completely fine. There is a steep hill up to the chalet, but the walk is charming. If you do not like to walk, parking in Chamonix is quite cheap and plentiful.

The hot tub was the game changer for the booking but it wasn’t hot and only became hot as we were leaving which was a huge disappointment. Arthur did send someone over but the moment was lost. I recommend to Arther to have a folder with instructions for where to find things and Wi-Fi instructions to make life simpler. We had a lovely time and really recommend it. Amazing views of Augille Du Midi & Mont Blanc. The house is just above the Brevant ski lift, about 2 minutes walk down a steep road, you may be able to ski closer when there is snow, but no snow whilst we were there. Everything was really clean and tidy when we arrived and the hot tub water had been replaced for us before we arrived. It took about 3 hours to heat up, and then stayed warm all the way through to the next evening. The toilet and the shower are quite small. I'm 6ft 5 and had to hunch over in the shower, but perfect for normal sized people. It feels very remote and peaceful when you're there, but is actually only a 5 minute walk to the centre of town. (the walk back up is pretty steep though!). Would definitely recommend for a small group, there were 3 of us and there was plenty of space.
